1947 Gyroscopically Stabilized Camera Boom T-Shirt


In 1947, E. Furer et al for Producers Service Company, soon to become Photo-Sonics (1949), invented this Gyro Camera boom. He states, “Our invention relates to the field of automatically positioned devices, and more particularly to a mobile, gyroscopically stabilized, camera boom that may be used in supporting a cinematographic camera in a predetermined plane regardless of the position occupied by the supporting vehicle.”
